Hosted by IDEA: Northeastern University's Venture Accelerator, Pitch-A-Thon started as a showcase of late-stage founders raising their first rounds of capital. Beginning in 2024, IDEA’s Pitch-A-Thon gathers undergraduate founders from universities across Boston to pitch their groundbreaking ideas to a panel of esteemed venture capitalists and sponsors. Traditionally, since 1954, The Boston Beanpot has been a friendly hockey competition between Northeastern, Boston University, Boston College, and Harvard, beloved by sports fans for bragging rights. Now, we take this spirit to startups and celebrate innovation throughout Boston.
